We celebrated my grandmas 84th birthday today. A lot of people there considering the circumstances and news we got yesterday. Very good chance that we don’t get another opportunity to get together like that with her. Make sure your family members know you love ‘em :)

This is definitely one of those periods in life where it feels like you're getting kicked when you're down. Just found out that my grandmother (my last remaining grandparent) has cancer. We'd been waiting for results, was really hoping for a different outcome. Rough day.

I went to the store to get something for my mom (her birthday is tomorrow) and noticed that they had an international foods section, including Jaffa Cakes. I've wanted to try them for many years and I finally got to. They are actually as good as I hoped, very good. Big happy.

It's both concerning and comforting that my mom can tell there's been something wrong with me lately because of a lot of behavioral changes, mostly because she's seen so little of me lately. I never know how to handle talking about it though.

Serious question out of curiosity, what are your comfort games when you're stressed? Like that game that you can always go to when you just need to decompress and detach from whatever's going on. For me it's WoW, has been for like the last 10 years.

I've been up literally all night and haven't been able to relax after getting the news about my brother last night. I saw some pictures as well and it looks horrible. Very good chance he loses his pinky finger. No world I'm doin anything today, I'm not there mentally.
