The AZ Supreme Court decision today is draconian, dangerous and shameful. As Governor Hobbs stated "it is a dark day in Arizona". We cannot lose this battle for human rights. We cannot lose this battle to protect women's lives. We cannot lose this battle for basic freedom.#AZ01

Proud to have just received the Moms Demand Action candidate distinction. I will work tirelessly for sensible gun reform including a ban on assault weapons, background checks for all gun purchases, passage of a national extreme risk law and holding the gun lobby accountable.#AZ01

I spent years looking at FDA approval of drugs as a Congressional investigator. I helped oversee Red Cross adherence to FDA regulations as a senior executive for them. Courts have NO role in challenging FDA safety/efficacy decisions, including mifepristone. Science matters.#AZ01

And under Democrats we have the opposite: 1)life expectancy is now up 2)unemployment is down 3)crime is down (homicides had sharpest decrease in history) 4) inflation is down 5) GDP is up 6)20M now on the ACA 7)highest job creation under Biden. Going forward is our thing.#AZ01

As a member of the House Republican Study Group Schweikert just signed onto their budget that includes: 1)increasing age for social security 2)privatizing Medicare 3)reducing subsidies for the ACA 4)designating life at conception. Going back to the Middle Ages is his thing.#AZ01

Biden's fiery SOTU speech was a home run! The choice could not be more clear: actions over anger, freedoms over fear and results over resentment and retribution. Defeating MAGA GOP Schweikert IS that very choice. It could not be more clear and our nation deserves better.#AZ01

Today, MAGA Congressman David Schweikert voted a third time to shut down the government. That is NOT fiscally responsible. The last shut down cost citizens $18B and that doesn't include loss of services, critical funding to children, etc. Democrats-the responsible party. #AZ01

Schweikert just voted FOR non-existent evidence and impeachment inquiry against Biden and then votes AGAINST the annual Defense bill to support our troops and allies. You can't make this stuff up. He's the gift that just keeps giving on votes against America and democracy.#AZ01
