@OldCheeseMaid Argiope aurantia, AKA, the Yellow Garden Spider. They are fairly common around here in summer and fall. But they are always striking to come across because of their colors and how big they can get. Not poisonous to humans. Check the ALT texts! 😉

@toast_jone24571 Opossums kill mice? That's an odd visualization for some reason. I didn't know armadillos could jump so well. Had one trapped at the bottom of a 32gal trashcan once. He popped straight up and out like it was nothing. With enough force you wouldn't want your face over the top.

@zoomybee I didn't have my dog spayed as I wanted puppies at some point. The male corgi we had lined up for her died, and at this point, I'm pretty sure it's too late. Now I'm wondering about saving eggs, or at least DNA.
