As the seasons change, I am looking forward to spending more time outside to continue exploring all of the beautiful things Utah has to offer. What are your favorite hikes in the state? #KingForUtah #ForTheBetter
@KingForUtah We hiked part of Zion in Februrary and it was AMAZING.
@KingForUtah Kanarra Falls, Kanarraville. A bit south of Cedar City. It's a fairly easy hike, but it's climbing up through the waterfall (the best way, so spring or early summer), and then the rock slide into the pool below. It was my favorite hike from that summer.
@KingForUtah I like telling politicians to “Take a hike!”
@KingForUtah With all due respect, avid hikers never, ever share their favorite hikes. No one who values peace and quiet in nature wants hoards of people invading their special places.
@KingForUtah Lone Peak via Jacobs Ladder. For some extra fun start at the Smiths on Alpine highway and ride your bike to the trailhead.
@KingForUtah Delicate Arch is my favorite! Calf Creek lower falls is a close second.
@KingForUtah You're not likely to have the time, with your weighty duties as governor, but lower Happy Canyon (where it runs into the Dirty Devil) is worth the trip. As for my inviting hordes to visit by this suggestion, its trailhead is reached only by high clearance 4wd.
