Re-watching the awesome movie, Elf, with the kids and I can say that the most unrealistic part of the movie is publishing people listening to book pitches on xmas eve in the office. I mean the rest, Santa, reindeer.... it's all possible. But not that. #publishing

@NeonScrawl It might be the city's ability to shape shift, keeping you on your toes, allowing you to live many different lives all at once. Other cities are restaurants making you choose from a menu. Las Vegas is a buffet.
I've moved away and back to Vegas then away again. I still visit and write about Las Vegas like I have part ownership of the Aces. What is it about this city that makes it so no one can ever really leave? It can't be the water.
