After nearly 4 years leading the Washington Bureau, today is my last day at LA Times. Though this transition started w/the prospect of a layoff, I chose to resign. I'm blessed to have produced award-winning work & lead in an industry in need of inclusive excellence. Stay tuned.
There's hardly enough space here to express my appreciation to everyone with whom I worked in the bureau, but I am forever grateful to all those who have supported my journey at The Times.
@Kimbriell Very sad news, I wish you all the best and look forward to hearing from you soon🙏 @Kimbriell
@Kimbriell So sad to see this @Kimbriell but glad you made it work for you. It was a total blast working with you at LAT diving deep into all the DC shenanigans/politics and important stories. I loved being on a project/series with you! Can't wait to see where you end up!!
@Kimbriell At a time when we need journalists more than ever, it’s frustrating to see news outlets and publications shrinking. I can’t help but wonder how the paper will cover this year’s election and beyond without leaders like you.
@Kimbriell Godspeed, Kimbriell. All the best to you and everyone there.
@Kimbriell You're an incredible journalist, and so generous in sharing with your peers. I'll forever appreciate the time you gave to our team at Futuro. I'm hopeful your next venture matches your spirit
