@WestJet never ceases to amaze me with their inability to take responsibility. One of their flight crew was ill and couldn't make the return flight. They offload 23 passengers and pay them to stay in St. Lucia. The plane is delayed 3 hours, and we miss our flight from YYZ to YVR and have to book a hotel until the next flight out in the following afternoon. We submit for reimbursement, and after 30 days, this is their response: "Upon review of your reservation, we are unable to approve your claim for compensation as the most significant reason for the flight interruption was due to a medical incident and outside WestJet’s control. As such, your claim has been denied, and no compensation is owing." It is obvious that their first response is to deny. Platinum status means very little to them, but it shouldn't matter what your status is. Do better, @WestJet . #airtravel #canada

Jonathan Rowe Liberals spent years saying $2/L gas was the only way to Net Zero… We tax our own fuel then wonder why we can’t compete. Fishermen in Newfoundland paying MORE than guys in Maine just to go to work. You don’t cripple your own economy and call it climate policy. Canada has some of the cleanest energy on earth and instead of exporting it to replace coal, Liberals made it unaffordable at home.
