@TaliaRinger Yeah it's mostly cardboard and fondant. But the fake they serve is more sheet cake. We had 175 people and the "decorated cake" was like a normal sized cake.

@ha1fling In an hour? Basic compiler usage, do a sample, simple coding problem to illustrate syntax and things like iostream, std::string and working with arrays? That should just about fill the time

@TaliaRinger Having not taken a biology class since 2004 it's been eye opening. The biggest thing for us was having a doula along for the ride.

@TaliaRinger On the way home from my parents there is a Culver's, taco bell, Arby's and a cheese chalet (a place you can buy Wisconsin farm cheese). It's a choose your own adventure for the 3 hour drive

@TaliaRinger One of my oddly favorite weddings they forgot to get a liquor package.... In Wisconsin... So basically we split time between the bowling alley across the street and would get texts like "it's first dance" and we eventually just moved the wedding to the bowling alley

@TaliaRinger Weddings are only a logistical nightmare if you want them to be. The best advice I ever got was "no one knows what was supposed to happen" so if something goes wrong no one will notice. Unless the groom goes to the wrong venue of course.
