Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture Jonathan Shell has issued a statement regarding the detection of New World Screwworm in the United States. At this time, there have been no cases detected in Kentucky. Current detections are limited to Texas and New Mexico.

Executive Director Brandon Reed joined university and state leaders for the ribbon-cutting of the new Martin-Gatton Agricultural Sciences Building at the University of Kentucky. The $60 million facility will help support the next generation of Kentucky agriculture leaders.
