Working on multiple complaints of motorcycle theft occurring in the city of Kolkata in the recent months, the Anti Motor Theft Section of DD arrested a team of lifters and receivers of stolen motor bikes operating in Kolkata & its adjoining areas & recovered 9 stolen motor bikes.
Six years ago, a man was caught redhanded with 10 kgs of charas meant for sale. The culprit has been sentenced with 12 years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 lakh. The efforts of SI Amar Santra who investigated this case, resulted in securing the successful conviction.

Risky Return! A victim was convinced to join an group in #instagram to earn money by performing #onlinetasks . Gradually he started to earn & then was lured to invest Rs 38k but was duped. Cyber Cell @KPSouthDiv recovered approx Rs 35k. Efforts are on to retrieve the rest.
