Your argument is a dull one and it’s not even for half of the year. After the winter solstice begins, days start getting longer each day so spare me the bullshit with this making kids walk to school for half the year in the dark. After school programs will have more daylight now so if you want to use the before school argument, I can easily use the after school one to counter it.

Thanksgiving and Christmas sunsets at a later hour of the evening will be nice to have. Traffic accidents during evening rush hour will be reduced as well as people will have more daylight coming home that they otherwise wouldn’t have if it were up to the standard time freaks. After school programs like sports and fine arts, will now have an extra hour of daylight for the kids to be even more active. There’s plenty of good contrary to what a lot of people are saying about it

You know how many people who work graveyard shifts, wake up and drive to work, all when it’s dark? Millions of us. Stop trying to bitch and complain about something that isn’t even a big deal. More people want daylight at a later hour of the day. Thanksgiving now with 6:00 PM sunsets? Sign me up for that

I actually work overnight and see sunrises every single day no matter if the clock changes or not. I want this for people that go to work in the morning when it’s dark and come home from work, when it’s dark. It’s depressing for people to lose their entire day of light because they’re at work for the duration of light time

It’s hilarious all these standard time capers, they think about all the kids BEFORE school, but the after school kids can fuck off in their eyes. They talk about production too, ummmmm kids will be more productive actually because they’ll be outside now even later with more daylight in the later hours of the day
