Sooooo, show Midjourney an artist’s image directly and Midjourney will copy it. You’re nothing but thieves. Nothing. #AIisTrash
LOL, Midjourney apparently blocked me. The company. The company that is allegedly generating $200m annually. Are they run by a group of babies?
@JustineBateman The replies thinking this is an amazing idea 🤯
This is what comes up when you do a Google search for you. Google does not pay any of the people or companies that they scraped these pictures or data from for this search result. This is what's in Google's Index. I just asked MJ to "describe this picture in great detail." The image appears to be a screenshot from a Google search result page for "Justine Bateman." There is a main search bar at the top of the page, and below it are several tabs such as "All," "Images," "News," "Videos," "2023," "Movies," "Age," "Wikipedia," "Young," and "Shopping." Below these tabs, there's a small snippet that shows about 1,500,000 results have been found in 0.42 seconds. The main feature of the screenshot is a section labeled "Justine Bateman," described as an American actress and filmmaker. This section includes several sub-tabs: "Overview," "Movies and shows," "Relationships," and "Videos." In the "Overview" sub-tab, there are three images of Justine Bateman. The first shows her in a blue environment, smiling and looking slightly to her left, with her long brown hair down. The second is a close-up of her face as she looks directly at the camera, smiling with a blue background. The third image shows her standing, wearing a patterned top with long sleeves, with her hands clasped in front of her and a neutral expression on her face. There are two textual overlays on the images: "The Today Show" and "AARP." To the right, there is a section with quick facts, listing her age as "58 years" with a birthdate of "February 19, 1966," and her spouse's name as "Mark Fluent (m. 2001)." Below the images, there is a Wikipedia link to Justine Bateman and another article from AARP titled "Why Justine Bateman Is Not Afraid of Aging - AARP." A brief excerpt from the article mentions that Justine Bateman has never been shy to talk about aging and explains why she'll never get plastic surgery. The date of the article is "Nov 20, 2023." At the bottom right of the screenshot, there is another image of Bateman with a caption that reads "There's Nothing Wrong With Your Face," dated "Apr 7, 2023." The browser tabs at the top indicate other search terms that might have been looked up before, like "movies," "batman," "apple," and "world cup." The search bar contains the term "justine bateman," and the Google interface elements, such as account access, grid menu, and notifications, are visible at the top-right corner. The browser interface elements are at the top of the image, with multiple tabs open, suggesting that the user is using the Google Chrome browser on a Mac operating system, given the appearance of the window control buttons (red, yellow, and green) on the top left.
@JustineBateman Tell me you dont understand how Midjourney or AI Image generation works without telling me you dont understand how Midjourney or AI Image generation works
@JustineBateman ctrl+c already exists. midjourney is redundant if all you want to do is duplicate.
@JustineBateman thats not what this feature does, it describes the image for you.
@JustineBateman Enlighten me: whose working am I stealing here? Do you think it's possible that there might be some legitimate artists with degrees in art--and also degenerative diseases that have robbed them of the use of their hands who don't actually copy other people's work?
@JustineBateman Coming up with original prompts to articulate what you’d like to express is a form of art in its self. If that’s lost then what’s the point.
@JustineBateman Oh whaa, cry me a river. I do engineering, it will now do all my calculations. I just need to adapt to use it. My creativity and problem solving will still shine. Artists need to do the same. It cannot be creative, so you are still the creative one.
