Even the RCMP officer who served me the trespass notice was surprised that I was banned from ALL Alberta Health Services Hospitals and facilities. He said he will contact the AHS because he doesn’t understand how could that be. All I did was kindly ask the nurse if the doctor would be available for an interview after his shift ends. When she said no, I left. They didn’t ask me to leave, they didn’t trespass me, and I didn’t even see the doctor. That was back in March. But today, when I parked near the hospital, they called the police, and they told me I wasn’t doing anything illegal and had every right to be there, but informed me of the existence of a trespass notice from March. He doesn’t want to answer questions? That’s totally fine. I’ve already been to South Africa to learn why he is suspended there. He is accused of fraud and misrepresentation. I didn’t do anything to deserve this type of blanket ban. It’s unacceptable. I expect a retraction and an apology.

So, just finished the 9th novel of The Expanse, all of whose massive doorstoppers were published between the release of A Dance with Dragons and now. That was one hell of a ride. The story was solid and kept me turning the pages. More to the point, the authors finished it in a decade. Oh, and almost all the bad guys get their comeuppance, though not always at the hands of the people who you'd most expect to be inflicting it.

Canadians were told that 215 children lay in unmarked graves at the former Kamloops residential school. Twelve million dollars in public funds was provided specifically to investigate those claims, recover remains, and bring children home to their families. That work has not been done. Basic reporting requirements were waived. No meaningful accounting has been provided. If those children are buried there, then the work of identification and recovery must proceed without delay. Families deserve answers. The country deserves the truth. If the claims cannot be substantiated after years and millions of dollars, then the public is owed a clear explanation of what happened to the money and why the investigation never advanced.

It's the sort of slimy disingenuousness that only ever ends one way. I've blocked him for that reason; I can't stand that type and level of dishonesty. You keep your guns locked up when they're not in use. BUT "in use" should include in the nightstand drawer, ready to ventilate unwanted visitors to your bedroom.

Given the unreliability (tending to dishonesty) of certain delivery courier services lately, and the fate of some packages once delivered, my concern with door-to-door gun deliveries has nothing to do with actually shipping guns to a specific legitimate buyer. If I knew Barron Trump was going to be delivering me my Death-a-nator 5000 chambered in .50 BMG with 10,000 starting rounds, I'd be more than happy with such an arrangement. OTOH there are some people I wouldn't trust to bring me a fucking Daisy slug gun. It all comes down to whether you can trust the middle men, particularly the ones at the lower end of that chain. As for @bradybuzz - they should arguably be banned as an organization, since their entire reason for existing is apparently to violate the US Constitution.
