Ground ball off the face. Get the touch, take the shot, hit the crossbar. Stay focused and sprint to the crease. Fight defense to get a second ground ball, keep the rock into play. Never stop hustling. It’s game day!
Great come from behind win against a really solid team to start the season. The offense really stepped up, and the D tightened up. I contributed 7 ground balls, and caused 4 turn overs.
Huge thank you to CV Head Track Coach Periandi. Worked with him all winter to shave some time off my 40-yard dash. Today during off season workouts he clocked me at 4.71 seconds!
Lots of unfinished business for the upcoming season. Today's powerclean max was 10 lbs shy of the school record in my weight class. Focused on taking that 270 lb title by the end of May.
Read the field, create space, soft hands, quick feet, get the rock to attack. Maybe I have a future as a receiver? Just kidding, I enjoy hitting ball carriers way to much. Competing against some elite players this winter.
Good day in the gym today. Squatted 375lbs, and hit my personal best vertical leap with 30.2"!
