University of Medical Sciences, Ondo was the first medical sciences institution in Nigeria and West Africa. Established in 2014 or 15, if I am not mistaken. You know the funniest thing, after the state govt started owing salaries, the efflux of people was so obvious. It is not about dearth of buildings or institutions, it's about in criminality in govt that makes HoR, senators and governors earn more than Profs and healthcare workers. Fix that.

PhD gives you leverage in research and academia. International grants and collaborations. A speaking engagement alone can give you another person's 1 year salary.
