This is a really good example of the story structure @EBischoff and I talk about on Strictly Business a lot. "A" story that is revisited throughout the show. Just the small tease of that will keep people hooked to find out. Really good stuff.

@JonAlba @EBischoff Is it though? Cody, Roman and Seth feel like afterthoughts to The Rock who has sucked in all the oxygen in the room.
@JonAlba @EBischoff What about the fans that prefer a true alternative? I don’t need AEW doing this and turning into WWE-lite. WWE focuses on storytelling, AEW focuses on wrestling. Fans choose which they prefer or they can even watch both if they want.
@JonAlba @EBischoff When nitro was humming we'd see Hogan a bunch of times furthering the story. Aew doesn't do that well AT ALL. Sometimes I see the main event people only in the main event. I still like the show but it can use this.
@JonAlba @EBischoff It’s also great to have stories intertwine. It keeps things interesting. Also little things like Heyman talking to Drew in the background. Gable coaching Sami. Trusting the audience. Callbacks. It’s a joy to watch.
@JonAlba @EBischoff The final boss huh. Only if you can answer back but I know you can't buy here we go...who do you think is gonna win ?
@JonAlba @EBischoff It’s still so jolting every time i’m reminded you have a podcast with Eric.
@JonAlba @EBischoff One thing that the attitude era had that this era doesn’t… Continuous story progress throughout the show, not just one segment then we have to wait a week. I like this tonight.
