Apparently I followed a couple of sex bots too. My DMs are now split between crypto promoters and people suspiciously eager to get naked. Neither has read my profile. Both want my money. Thankfully, "Block" works for both business models.

Follow a few crypto accounts and suddenly my DMs are full of promoters offering a "collaboration." Apparently that means I pay you to post about my project to your vast sea of bot followers. There isn't even a memecoin here to promote. You'd know that if you'd spent thirty seconds looking at the project. What exactly did you see that made you think I'd want your service? Or is "collaboration" just what we're calling copy-paste spam now?
Last day before vacation and work has decided to throw a farewell parade. Production issues. New security issues. Client issues. Nothing says "enjoy your time off" like making sure you need every minute of it. Going to be a long day.

Shit I learned in 30+ years of building software: "Just roll back" only works if the old code can still use the database. Rename or delete a column during deployment, and rolling back the app might give you a different outage. For changes like that, do it in stages: add the new field, make the app work during the transition, migrate the data, then remove the old field once nothing uses it and the rollback window has passed. Before deploying, ask: "Could the version running right now still work after this migration?" If the answer is no, your rollback plan needs more than a button.
