Teachers buy these bags of 100 plastic pennies for $12 on Amazon 🤦🏻♂️ Never send your kid to public school
"so worth it, the plastic ones look so realistic"
Teachers really educating their students on the value of money here
@Jetskigrizzly well, duh, would you spend 100$ on real ones?!
@Jetskigrizzly they are super realistic though
@Jetskigrizzly The point is that plastic pennies have no value in shops, and they’re easy to identify as belonging to the school/teacher. (Kids unlikely to walk off with them, and the teacher won’t have to go out and buy 100 pennies every month)
@Jetskigrizzly Kids aren't going to steal plastic coins, they WILL steal real coins, these will last years, $12 in real pennies would disappear In much less time.
@Jetskigrizzly More kids would steal real change than fake change. Especially if the pennies are real and the rest of the coins are fake (which, I would assume you would advocate for, considering $25 in fake quarters goes for $12 as well)
@Jetskigrizzly is it illegal to withdraw 100 pennies from a bank?
