This makes me actively upset.
@ask_aubry idk I can see both sides? because I was teased for not shaving my legs as a 13 year old teenage girl. like I can appreciate where mom's coming from, but if dad is trying to save her a fate like the one I endured, I support him. idk I'm torn.
@mtheythem @ask_aubry So if kids teased a kid for wearing glasses, parents should shame them too? Or for being fat? A parent should be countering harassment by building up a kid, not teaching them their bodies are dirty, wrong, & exist for men's pleasure.
@JessPected @mtheythem @ask_aubry Yeah I agree I don’t think the parents should just go along with the bullies like that. When I was about 14, other girls bullied me for my unsaved legs at the time by saying “Eww your legs are so hairy.” I didn’t have access to a razor at home and ended up using a scissors.
