@fnd_me Looks fantastic! I have the same problem during a flare in that I can run but not walk! I found I could crawl and walk backwards too! 🧠 #FND #FNDAware

@Livingmybestlyf I agree it’s defiantly the first warning sign of a possible “flare”! It’s so so difficult to pace, especially when you forget what I feels like to feel well and then when you do the sense of freedom and wanting to do everything is hard to ignore!

Fatigue - feeling like your whole body is being dragged downwards. Like your dragging a heavy weight behind you, each movement effortfull. Reminding myself to take a step back, slow and steady. It’s all going to be okay 👌🏻🌺#FND #FNDAware

@JillianCarson7 Hi Jillian :) I found neurosymptoms.org really helpful in understanding what’s going on. On a professional level I looked in detail into current literature and research surrounding it and set a treatment plan for myself as I would if treating any other patient with FND 🌟

@FndRecovery I think understanding what’s going on in my brain really helped reduce the fear and anxiety surrounding my symptoms. Daily exercise and mindfullness plus a good diet, Iv lost over a stone in weight and never been so healthy! 😊

Slurred speech with difficulty getting words out today. Hasn’t happened in a while so always comes as a little shock to those around me at the time! Still managed to have a very productive day at work, highlighting the importance of non verbal communication! 🤗 #FND #FNDAware

Woke up feeling weird. I couldn’t quite put my finger on why, and then I realised. I have energy. My brain isn’t fuzzy. Iv lost track of the number of days I had been fighting this “flare”. I’m determined to make the most of the day. In a sensible, paced way of cause 😂 🌦 #fnd

@ERobins47603244 @HulyaMcConville Hi eve :) I’m okay how are you? I wasn’t diagnosed at Salford Royal I was diagnosed at the John Radcliffe in Oxford. I still have “episodes” but am able to work full time, would be happy to talk over DM, I’m just very aware everyone’s journey is so very different :) xx

Trying to remind myself that having symptoms is not a sign of weakness. It takes strength to acknowledge and accept that today I am limping, that my arm is spasming, brain not working. Tomorrow will be different. And if it’s not, that too is okay ⛅️ #FND #FNDAware
