I’m 46. My 76 y.o. parents sitting on a mill in deferred comp and a debt free house worth a mill. Not a penny for my kids college. That’s fine, that’s their CHOICE. Me = Stress Wife and I will choose to fully fund 529 plans at birth for all my grandkids. $30k each minimum.

@RForeverright My husband and I open a 529 as each grandchild is born and contribute to each on a monthly basis. We also provide free daycare for our grandchildren in our home. We made certain that our children had minimal college debt, and we are not rich. We work for future generations.
@JerseyGio @RForeverright Dad funded 529's for our kids, which most likely we won't need. So we'll skip a generation, invest them, and fund homeschool/private school/etc for our grandkids. This Is the Way. (h/t @spongeworthy2 )
@JerseyGio @RForeverright God bless you and yours.
@JerseyGio @RForeverright > We work for future generations. “A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.” Proverbs 13:22 NIV
@JerseyGio @RForeverright This is the way.
