@JerryGordonFB It’s not sad that it’s come to this. There’s just change. We’ll probably see more parity, which is bad for bama but good for almost everyone else.
@JerryGordonFB This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that this is what college athletics has turned into.
@JerryGordonFB That makes sense. It changes the balance of power now.
@JerryGordonFB @coachlaplante When Saban was deciding where to go after his stint with Miami, do you think the amount of money that Alabama could pay him played a part in his decision? I guess only coaches are supposed to make decisions based on that.
@JerryGordonFB @coachgelber Losing fans, too. PAC breaking up ruined it for me. Broke my heart. Colleges are gonna run out of coaches. You simply cannot build a program. You can buy one season, but you can build a program, dynasty, winning record without the $$$. Loyalty to your school is gone.
@JerryGordonFB He is mad because everyone else can pay players…. For years he was able to do so without the competition doing the same…. Level playing field now
@JerryGordonFB Bama been paying players forever. Now that all teams can do it (to different levels) and he cant keep a full cupboard of 5 stars waiting on the depth chart.
@JerryGordonFB Says the highest paid coach in the country.
@JerryGordonFB We are all disappointed in what it’s come to. Unlimited rosters, full free agency every year, no salary cap.
