Former minister Roderic O’Gorman and Minister Helen McEntee, who held the justice brief at the time, allowed 37 houses in private housing estates to be purchased for use by international protection applicants. I am delighted that @OCallaghanJim has no intention of adding to this number. This is the type of nonsense that drives division in communities. Unbelievable. Former Irish Minister for Children Roderic O'Gorman was secretly buying houses using taxpayer funds and filling the houses full of migrants. Bertie Ahern wasn't the only politician caught on camera when canvassing. In 2024 Roderic O'Gorman was recorded at a woman's front door, but unlike Bertie who told the truth about immigration, Roderic lied to the woman's face, over and over. Of course he was buying houses for asylum seekers, God knows what else he has been up to that's yet to come out.

@griptmedia Can we talk about economic migrants? In any other country you must work and pay tax to live there; but not Ireland. I lived in Europe for 12yrs I paid my own rent and was proud of my better life in the 80s & 90s. I came back in 98 raised my child to contribute to society.
