@NOLAJake I don’t blame them, after watching summer league what do they get out of it? They’re not playing against a roster full of NBA players, they’ll get more high-quality basketball experience playing pick up games with the pros.

@SaintsForecast The real issue I have with the US Men’s team is their style, they are way too passive. The way to counter technical teams is by swarming the ball like Mexico did to England. We have to be the most aggressive team on the field every time we play to even have a slight chance

@SaintsForecast The Youth recreational teams barely learn the basics of the game, forget about the tactical side and that is sad. They should keep rec league teams together from U5-U19, let the kids grow together, they will all be better players with consistency

@SaintsForecast This is just my 2 cents as someone who has both played Soccer for most of my life and coached at every age level up to U19. I cannot agree with you more, the Club level teams typically stay together for many years and have the same coaches. They learn the tactical game together
