Sometimes a piece of music comes along that doesn’t just sound good. It finds you. This mashup — **Hans Zimmer x Bicep x How Deep Is Your Love (Aaron Hibell Mashup)** — feels like so many parts of my life somehow meeting in one place. I’ve always loved House music. I love epic, cinematic music. I love film scores, inspirational sounds, martial arts, movies, and music that makes you feel something beyond words. Hans Zimmer’s **Time** from *Inception* has always affected me deeply. There is something in the way it builds, carries emotion and keeps moving forward that speaks to me. Maybe that connects back to my own journey. I came to the UK at the age of six and was bullied. Then one day my uncle took me to see **Enter the Dragon**. That film changed something in me forever. Bruce Lee became more than just a martial artist to me. He represented discipline, adaptability and strength. Later came other inspirations — Ip Man, Superman, and even The Godfather in very different ways. Bruce Lee gave me discipline. Ip Man gave me principle. Superman gave me hope. The Godfather gave me loyalty. But through all of it, **music gave everything a heartbeat**. Music has always been there. Through good times. Through difficult times. Through family. Through loss. Through love. Through life. It is probably why the words **“Music is Life, Life is Music”** have always meant far more to me than just being the slogan of JDK Radio. I try simply to be a decent human being, regardless of someone’s religion, colour, background or beliefs. We are all travelling through this thing called life in our own way. And sometimes a piece of music reminds you why you keep travelling.
