Either you get a cheaper bridge QB plus the high draft pick QB or you get the high priced free agents QB + a later round project QB with potential. You don’t go high price free agent QB plus high draft pick QB. Pick a direction

The Packer model has worked because they get raw QB talent in the 20s. They sit a guy for years without the pressure since they had established guys. Kirk is not established.
