You say you hate seeing players in the transfer portal? Here is a start if you’re able. I also wish local businesses would buy tickets and give to fans, including those who rarely have an opportunity to go to games. I know it’s a cliche but it does take a village. What role will you take in all of this?
While I will be there - one thing that I will say, is its tough to see is a charge for the spring game … I could be wrong but I believe we are the only program I’ve seen charging for spring game attendance. Which i am going to assume the funds are going toward the deficit… but then become curious are they instead going toward NIL, or going toward a charity, or something else?
@JavierJMorales With the Transfer Portal being what it is now, no football program should be allowed to sell tickets (season or otherwise) until the Portal closes. NIL player jerseys either ...
@JavierJMorales We support the athletic department with ticket sales. Almost 4K for football and basketball. Want the kids to get their share but right now we the fans have to foot the payroll of the players. That’s not fair
@JavierJMorales Thanks Javier, great message. Daughter’s school musical keeping me in PHX, do we know TV channel yet?
@JavierJMorales Wait. They’re charging for the spring game? I’m out.
@JavierJMorales Why charge? More people…more interest…more money.
@JavierJMorales I have such a moral confliction with NIL. I love the Block A. Times are good in Tucson when we are winning….but I also value supporting local charities/my church. I make ends meet, but when it comes to deciding to donate to a food bank or a kid tht might leave next year…idk
@JavierJMorales Bought our tickets and will be traveling 6 hours from Navajoland to support @ArizonaFBall
