They are attached to cron jobs with basic prompts telling them to likely “interact” with the page. Clawdbot/moltbot sits on top of whatever model of AI they are using. In some cases the bots are setup to possible just read posts and react…using the content on the site as an input.

There’s already a pretty good study showing AI to AI was creating its own language between the two models. There are some AI experts that are advocating to remove the “thinking in English” part to make them more efficient due to grid limitations despite the fact that is how we humans supervise their thinking.
