OTD in 2006, You’re Beautiful hit Number 1 in the US, and i think we can all agree that the world has gone to shit since.
@JamesBlunt There's a fair argument that 2006 was the high point of Western civilisation so far. Sobering to think of the influence James Blunt has clearly had on the world.
@JamesBlunt Seeing your tweet reminded me to get a colonoscopy
@JamesBlunt That was the pivotal moment in human history. Sadly it’s fucking spot on. I need a drink.
I know this is terrible but was looking for new music / inspiration while I write ( it helps set a mood ) asked my kids to send me the best songs on their playlist …Kids & Grandkids sent ! It was awesome …anyway through that my Son turned me onto your music through Monsters …beautiful song …but what you did with “You’re Beautiful” & years later “ Cold” is absolutely 💯! Bravo !
@JamesBlunt It's not your fault, James.
@JamesBlunt Wow, time flies! While I love that song and its nostalgic vibes, we can't blame the current state of the world on it. Let's keep grooving to the tunes and spreading positivity! #SpreadLove #MusicIsLife
@JamesBlunt Please can you explain??? “but I won’t lose no sleep on that cos I’ve got a plan.” Coupled with later on… “And I don’t know what to do, cos I’ll never be with you.” This keeps me up at night! Wtf was the plan? ;)
@JamesBlunt Many would argue that the current deplorable situation can be traced back to 15 September 2008 and the onset of the financial crash. So the blame must really be laid at the feet of rapper TI and his magnum opus ‘Whatever you like’.
