Epic Games have issued their statement around Apex hacker Destroyer2009 who seemingly gave hacks to multiple players live during ALGS Saying there is no RCE vulnerability within their Easy Anti Cheat (EAC)
@JakeSucky Epic actively lying to keep their hands clean
@JakeSucky It's probably better if it really was just a few people's systems being compromised rather than a RCE vulnerability still insane tho either way
@JakeSucky Reminder that these companies will try to lie to keep their stocks, partners, and investors happy. I am not going to play games with EAC. That will be my personal choice. Money talks.
@JakeSucky So, then what's the probability this was a design in the hacks to expose people using the cheats by reloading them and having them overlay mid game?
@JakeSucky Whats RCE? Somebody explain to me like your explaining to a child
@JakeSucky Companies associated with EA/Respawn making sure their hands are clear if and when the penalties and lawsuits start flying due to Respawns failures.
@JakeSucky "We have investigated ourselves and found no evidence of wrongdoing 😌"
