We're hiring a Diving Coach! And yes, diving matters here. Now yes, many Head Coaches will tell you that diving matters. I show you. When we built our new facility, I didn't ask for a separate well, I demanded one. In fact, I told our folks I didn't want a new pool unless it had a separate well, and I was willing to wait as long as needed to see it happen. I was willing to put an entire facility on the line for a separate well, and I stood by those words. That said, I didn't have to. There was no pushback. Liberty was on board. Let's do it, said the decision makers here at LU. Big-time. Willing to invest. Of course we'll do a separate well, they said. And the rest is history. This is a special place, one where Olympic sports matter, and within our program, diving matters. Many will say...do they back up those words with bold action? Go Flames!🔥🔥🔥

A great moment for women’s athletics - though it’s wild it had to come to this. That said, many coaches stood firm against the tide.
