Trading is 80% psychological and 20% technical. What is your opinion? I’ve been trading for 13+ years and I’ve known this to be truth. No amount of technical analysis is going to save you when shit gets rocky…
@JadeCapFX Also risk management. That 80% psychological is easier to manage with proper risk management, sizing, logical stops, and profit targets.
@JadeCapFX Psychology is so key that even if you have the best strategy, fear and greed can make you interpret the market backwards. Emotions will make you place expectations on the market that might not be there. Long exposure and repetition is what slowly wires you towards objectivity.
@JadeCapFX 100% agree. Psychology RUNS the edge I have never understood someone who says Edge is more important than psychology. If I am weak and undisciplined to even let the edge run, the edge is useless
@JadeCapFX I strongly believe you need to work on your edge alongside psychology Just imagine trusting something you don't know whether it works or not
@JadeCapFX 80% technical 20% psychological when entering. 100% psychological when exiting.
@JadeCapFX Absolutely, psychology plays a monumental role in trading success
