@JackDuffin So what are the possible ramifications of not extending him and just restructuring this season? If he lights it up, can we afford him going into 2025?
@JackDuffin Another good prediction Jack! Question: how are you feeling about the age guardrails going into this draft? Last year's draft was perhaps the closest thing to you being 'wrong' that I can remember. Is that fair?
@JackDuffin If he comes back and he's his old self this will not be his last year with the browns he will get a long-term deal with the browns
@JackDuffin I'd say 50% or less guranteed given his injury history it's hard to commit to uncertainty. Although we are in the part of the off season where you feel like investing in a high risk high reward guy is fine and won't hurt your football team.
@JackDuffin Looks like a 6M cap hit. So 4M in dead cap and 2M base. Would mean 9M in incentives...
@JackDuffin So he'll be gone after next year. Probably retired before 2026. Berry killed his last two seasons by adding a QB who can't throw so teams just stack the box on him. This team is not built very well, it's like he plays a lot of Madden and just goes after high ratings.
