This is my daughter Pearl, she struggles with anxiety, so much so she can't attend school. But tonight she organised and hosted a teen book club at @JackAutism She was terrified but she did it. I am so proud ❤️❤️❤️

We are honoured to be chosen by the staff of Boston Scientific in Cork as one of their top 3 chosen charities for 2020-2021! We are so close to securing up to €40,000 through their fundraising intiative but will need the staff votes to succeed. #operationtellourstory @bostonsci

We are proud of our work done on our end to support families in desperate need of a school place this September. We are delighted the hard work has produced news of an additional Special School in Cork. We will continue to campaign for further secure measures.

We are standing beside these parents. Jack is soon to leave his special school with no Secondary place in site. Claire Jack's Mother is pushing back at the system. Children like Jack and his Friends with a dual diagnosis of Autism and a learning disability are the forgotten.
As our emails are flooded with lots of support from TD's with promises of approach & meetings with Dept of Ed @NormaFoleyTD1 a solution has still not been signed off. There are sites, options right here in Cork just waiting for ACTION. Our parents are calling for " Less Talk"
Another week and another good news story for a mainstream secondary school development. This time in Bcollig with an enrollment of 40 first yr students. Meanwhile not a peep about a placement for 23 ASD/ID kids in the same city. irishexaminer.com/news/munster/a…

April is Autism Awareness Month. It has being a year like no other. Our children who navigate the worlds obstacles daily were faced with the unimaginable; withdrawal of their already limited social interaction, structure and routine.
