I posted this last year and it’s truer than ever. I’m sure (I hope) people are aware of the history of May 4 and how it ripples out to today, but maybe not. I was a student there more than three decades after the shooting and it was still present. Violence has a long reach.
I visited my alma mater, @KentState, recently and stopped by Taylor Hall. It housed the journalism program when I was there and is now home to the May 4 Visitors Center. I can’t imagine a better use for that building. The events of May 4 are more relevant than ever.
Today is National Guide Dog Day and if you love dogs you should consider raising a puppy for a service organization. We did 7 for Leader Dogs For The Blind:
