My downtime over the holidays, that isn't spent on the beach or at farms, aquariums, or toyshops with my little one, will be dedicated to finding time to fill my own passion for reading. Starting with Ender's Game, by Orson Scott Card...although I have a lot to get through! ☀️📖

As always, our focus over the summer will be to work hard to ensure that we are in the best position to support our schools (new, existing or future) to help their students with reading fluency, stamina and comprehension.

With the end of the academic year upon us, it's great to reflect on what an absolute pleasure it has been working with our schools this year. Some great stories, huge milestones, conferences and most importantly, fantastic students engaging with reading! Same again next year! 📚

Great to see #edutwitter showcasing students enjoying #WorldBookDay2024. Helping schools to create more passionate and motivated readers, who want to read for pleasure is one of the best things about my job and to see so many celebrating their favourite characters is awesome!

I never want my tweets just to turn into are 'lovely to speak with you' but a great conversation with @H_G_H_S today, getting ready to run their baseline assessments on their Reading Plus pilot. Excited and proud to be supporting such a passionate school and their students 📚

@churchfieldprim I absolutely love this! Encouraging students' love for reading can only be good for the students and a great way to have books reused as well! I'm sure it'll get everyone thinking and having so many good chats off the back of those books as well!
