7-Eleven BLUF: 36 years after seeking and finding I have certainty... i am with true peace. The old testament is a story of what evil and sin is and why we are evil. It is a story of God, the Creator, destroying His created because they completely reject good, but helping those who seek good but fall to selfish and prideful nature, always. The 1st covenant seemed to be a failed contract as the solution for man to live with perfection of a sinless God was unattainable... except there is a way. Why I am certain. The problem is humility. I have 3 engineering degrees, I have built Aircraft and Rockets systems all my life. Cause and effect is the way of the Universe. At 32 I gave up looking, i had just finished my 1st Masters program. I was raised RC but rejected the ritual and cult like ceremonies. I saw what you saw in "religions and traditions." I was too sophisticated for ancient religion that gave me no answers other than "just do it." I searched with sincerity in eastern philosophies and found nothing. I was resigned to modern enlightenment. God wasn't done with me. I was challenged by a man I owed a debt. I could repay the debt if I would open my mind, read the Gospels and seek truth no matter where it led. After reading the 1st 3 Gospels I let go of my intellectual pride. I asked and received, sought and found, knocked and the door was open. Jesus promised me a 7-11 Matthew 7:7-11, Luke 11: 7-11

Why do you guys always complain about getting what you want? Those who don't want God get the absence of God. Hell is the absence of love and peace. Jesus is love and peace. Love for people in the midst of hateful sin. HE is Peace and Hope internal in the midst of a chaotic and despairing world. Yet you choose sin, chaos, and despair and blame God.
