God is Love @JQNotes

Is it really a sin not to go to church on Sunday? Don’t answer based on your feelings, because the Bible’s focus is about much more than simply whether you “go or don’t go.” The real danger is not that you missed church one Sunday, but that you may have been overlooking what truly matters to God. The truth is, God does not live in buildings made by human hands. He lives in sincere hearts. Some people think that sitting on a church bench every Sunday is all God wants. But there is more to it than that. I'm saying that going to church is important. It is where we encourage one another and grow together. The Bible also tells us, "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together." (Hebrews 10:25) But what about those who truly cannot go to church? Does that mean they are far from God? Has God rejected them? NO! The Bible says, "God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24) Some people may not gather often, yet they truly love and worship God. Others may sit in church, but their hearts are far from God. Which one pleases God? Meeting together is not a forced rule. It is a blessing. But what matters most is always your relationship with God, whether you are inside a church or outside it. Ask yourself today: Is your heart with God? If churches could no longer open tomorrow, and silence replaced the songs of worship, would your faith disappear with the building?

3 things Satan cannot do to you—many people don’t even know! Many people fear Satan and think it can do anything. But according to the Bible, there are 3 things it can never do. 1st: it cannot force you to sin. It can tempt you, but it cannot decide for you. The book of James says: “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.” (James 1:14) In the end, whether you take that step or not is your choice. Depend on God, and you will have power to say no. 2nd: it cannot read your thoughts. It is not God. It cannot see what is in your heart. It can only watch you from outside, then guess and test you. 2 Timothy says: “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7) Let God’s word fill your heart, and it will find no place to attack. 3rd: it cannot stop you from coming close to God. It can make you busy, make you tired, make you feel not worthy to pray. But it can never stop you from calling on God’s name. Romans says: “…Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God.” (Romans 8:39) The closer you go to God, the farther Satan will be from you.

You have asked God for a sign... Maybe this is exactly the answer you have been waiting for. Please read Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Do not give up. No matter how difficult things may seem right now, you will get through it. God is working behind the scenes for your good. He will not bring you this far and then leave you. Get ready... What you have prayed for is about to happen. God will remove the wrong people from your life, He will open the door that you cannot open, He will turn around the situation that has been causing you sorrow. If you trust in Him, please offer an “Amen,” and send this message to someone who needs encouragement today.

When God Is Preparing to Bless You, These 3 Things Will Surely Happen! If this video appears in your feed, it is by no means a coincidence; you may be exactly the person God has specially chosen and blessed. First, you will go through a difficult period. Many people think that difficulties mean God has abandoned them. In fact, most of the time, before God uses someone greatly, He will first shape that person's character. Second, God begins to remove certain people and things. This process is sometimes very painful. But it is necessary—because not everyone can walk with you to the place where God wants to take you. Third, you will feel discouraged. You begin to ask: Why is everything so hard? You cry, and you may even feel like giving up. But please remember, the Lord will never give you a trial that you cannot bear. Everything you are going through right now has His reason. Continue to pray, continue to trust. For after the storm, there is always a rainbow. After the suffering, what awaits you is a future far beyond your wildest imagination!

Why Do We Get Distracted When We Pray and Worship God? Have you ever noticed something? When we pray and worship God, our minds are especially easy to wander. But when we watch movies, follow shows, or scroll on our phones, we can stay focused for a long time. The truth is in the unseen spiritual realm, where a spiritual battle is taking place. As someone said: “If the enemy cannot stop you, it will find a way to distract you.” The devil doesn't care if you keep watching videos, endlessly scrolling through your phone, or constantly keeping yourself busy. But when you begin to worship God; when you open your mouth and say: “Lord…”; the spiritual battle begins. Because the devil knows: you are drawing closer to God; you are building your relationship with God, and this is exactly what it does not want to see. It does not even care if you just go to church. If God has not truly changed your life, going to church will not make the devil afraid. But as soon as you start to live seriously for God, it will attack everything you do. By the time you realize it, your prayer life has slowly disappeared; your close relationship with God has become weaker and weaker; your original passion for God has gradually cooled down. So what should we do? God says: “1. Withdraw your heart from external matters. Be at peace before God, and give your undivided attention to praying to God. 2. With your heart at peace before God, eat, drink, and enjoy God’s words. 3. Attentively meditate on and contemplate God’s love and ponder God’s work. First, begin with the aspect of prayer. Pray with undivided attention and at fixed times. No matter how pressed you are for time, how busy you are with work, or what happens to you, pray every day as normal, and eat and drink God’s words as normal.” Amen. A very effective way is to speak your prayers out loud. As you speak, bring your attention back to God. I am not saying that you will never get distracted again. But at least when you do get distracted, you will know how to come back. In fact, you can also bring these things into your prayer. For example, if you suddenly think of something while praying, just tell God directly: “Lord, I have really been struggling to face this matter lately.” “Lord, I am getting distracted again.” “Lord, my mind keeps thinking about these things.” Do not blame yourself because of this; do not stop praying because of this. At least, you still have many things you can pour out to God. God is always with you. He is always helping you. One day, you will understand that the true power of prayer does not just come from how emotional you feel or how strong your feelings are in a certain prayer. The real power comes from continually praying to God, continually talking with Him, and continually building your relationship with God.

A father hadn’t prayed in eleven years. Not at meals, not at bedtime, not at his own father’s funeral. He’d stopped sometime after the layoff, and it felt dishonest to start again. At dinner one night, his six-year-old looked at him and said, “Dad, you forgot to pray.” He said, “Dad doesn’t really do that anymore, buddy.” His son thought about it, then asked, “Can I do it, then?” He nodded, mostly to end the conversation. The boy folded his hands, closed his eyes and said, “God, thank You for the tacos. And please help my dad. He’s sad, and he doesn’t know how to say it.” The man stared at his plate for a full minute. Nobody had told his son he was sad. Nobody had told him to pray that. That night, after bedtime, he stood in the kitchen and said his first prayer in eleven years. It was just one sentence: “I don’t know how to say it.” That was enough. He prays at dinner now. His son still insists on doing the tacos part. God didn’t wait for him to find the right words. He sent a six-year-old to say them first.

When his grandfather died, a man inherited the old family Bible. He hadn’t been to church since college and almost left it in a box in the garage. One night he opened it. In the margin beside Psalm 121, in his grandfather’s shaky handwriting, was a date and three words: “Prayed for him.” The next page had another date. So did the next. Hundreds of them, going back twenty-two years, the earliest from the week he had told his family he was done with church. Some had extra notes. “Still waiting.” “He called today. Didn’t mention God. That’s okay.” “Lord, I may not see it. Keep going without me.” He read until 3 AM, then sat on the garage floor with the book in his lap. He’s been in church every Sunday for nine years. He sits in his grandfather’s seat, and he keeps the Bible in his truck, so he can keep adding dates. His grandfather never saw him come back. God did the waiting for him.

"A WARNING FROM GOD, BUT 99% OF PEOPLE WILL SKIP THIS." ⚡📖"And whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." — Revelation 20:15 The gate to hell is wide, and the gate to heaven is narrow. If you believe Jesus is the only One who can save you from the torment of hell, put Amen! And share this with those you hope will receive God's salvation. 🙏

Imagine a woman in a church fellowship hall in Tennessee, holding her late mother’s casserole dish, with no idea where to put it. She hadn’t set foot in that church in fourteen years. After a bruising season of church gossip, she had stopped teaching Sunday school and told everyone she was “just taking a break.” The break kept going. She only came inside that day because her mother’s funeral lunch needed the dish. During the service, unable to look at the casket, she picked up the pew Bible and started flipping pages, just to give her hands something to do. Somewhere in the Psalms, something shifted. She stopped flipping and started reading, because the words about being carried when you can’t walk sounded like they had been written for that exact afternoon. By the time she reached the Gospels the following week, in her own kitchen, it felt less like a book and more like her mother’s voice, reading aloud. Today she teaches Sunday school again, in the same room where she left. She still brings that casserole dish to every potluck. God didn’t wait for her to forgive the church first. He met her in a fellowship hall, holding a casserole dish.

Imagine a retired Army sergeant at a VA pharmacy in Ohio, holding ticket number 47, with the screen currently showing 12. A volunteer in a church vest walked by with a cart of coffee and pocket New Testaments. He took the coffee. He took the little green Bible too, only because refusing it felt rude. He had stopped praying in the desert, years earlier, after losing two men from his unit. He never said he was angry at God. He just said he was “done talking to Him.” He read Matthew while waiting, mostly to avoid staring at the wall. He came back the next week for another refill, and read a few more chapters. Somewhere in the Psalms, something shifted. He stopped reading to kill time and started reading because the writers sounded like men who had also buried friends and still said what they actually thought to God. By the time he reached the Gospels, it felt less like a book and more like someone saying, “You never had to stop talking to Me.” Ten years later, he’s the one in the vest, pushing the coffee cart through that same pharmacy, handing out little green Bibles. God didn’t wait for him to stop being angry first. He met him in line, at number 47.

Imagine a long-haul trucker, somewhere on I-40 at 2 AM. The TV in his motel room had been broken for two nights, so he started going through the drawers. Under the phone book, he found a Gideon Bible. He hadn’t been inside a church since his divorce, eleven years earlier. When people asked, he said he’d just gotten busy. The truth was he’d gotten angry, and “busy” was easier to say over a plate of eggs at Waffle House. He read Genesis that night just to have something to read. For three weeks after that, the Bible rode on his dashboard, a few pages at every truck stop. Somewhere in the Psalms, something shifted. He stopped reading to fill the silence and started reading because David sounded like a man shouting at God from the cab of his own truck. By the time he reached the Gospels, it felt less like a book and more like someone had been riding in the passenger seat for eleven years, waiting for him to turn the radio off. Now picture him ten years later: a Bible on the dash, a stack of pocket Gospels in the door, and a copy left in the drawer of every motel he stays in. God didn’t wait for him to get over the divorce first. He met him in Room 114, with the TV broken.
