@JJModelMaking Beautiful work, JJ. I remember seeing the studio version of the Enterprise C at a Star Trek exhibition being held at the Science Museum in London & was stunned to learn the model was made from foam. Great work, bud. 🖖
@Norsehound @JJModelMaking I think the Gridlines on the C were a little less dense than the Yamaguchi.
@Norsehound @JJModelMaking I feel that there are too many gridlines on the studio model, making it very cluttered. Also many of added gridlines go through or underneath panels, windows and escape pods The original blueprint had far fewer gridlines on the saucer.
@JJModelMaking The ambassador is unique in depicting them this way, especially from the few ships with circular primaries.
@JJModelMaking Someday I want to see what an ambassador looks like without the pronounced grid lines. Trek looks best IMO with large areas of smooth hull catching the light of space.
