I'm sure it's for the best, but I can't help but chuckle. When I was at Boise State, BSU's policy for school closures (weather, etc.) was: ????? that sounds like a "you" problem.

Pittsburgh Public Schools will operate remotely from April 22–24 as the city prepares to host the 2026 NFL Draft. With road closures, heightened security, parking restrictions, and heavy traffic expected, the city believes remote learning is the best option during that time.

@ZackKrebsCS @PeteThamel The consequences for breaking the rules are too low (or non-existent). It is the $10 fine (if you get caught) for breaking the rule that allowed you to make $1,000. Might as well let players start betting on where they are going to sign to play.

@mybrainissmart The system will implode. Right now it is novel to be able to buy a top performing team, so boosters are into it. The broad stroke funds will diminish when it hits year three or four of needing to donate $1mil for 2-3 players.

Better yet - stop doing pre-season rankings… But television wouldn’t want that because of viewership. The alternative is you only get to count a ranked win if that are ranked on that exact ranking…

@mcuban @ScottAdamsSays This is an interesting concept. I start thinking about what is the highest level that we could apply taxes that simplifies the entire tax system and scales regardless of a tax on people, business, or robot. Even better if they are collected real time.

@lobojonz @mid_madness They thought they “fixed” the system with their committee of former P4 coaches and active P4 ADs, yet they create a set of criteria that the G5 finds a way into. And since the money goes to the conferences, I think people can follow the money as to why Miami got love after a bye
