The Eagles are losing a key member of their front office who worked very closely with GM Howie Roseman. Jake Rosenberg tells @Jeff_McLane he is leaving the Eagles to pursue growth in the NFL and he would like to be a general manager. Jake has been very important working on the salary cap and helping to structure contracts in a way that really helped the Eagles.
@JClarkNBCS @Jeff_McLane Getting outta there before the collapse is proactive
@JClarkNBCS @Jeff_McLane Nobody’s job is safe from AI.
@JClarkNBCS @Jeff_McLane We’ll be good chill people lol
@JClarkNBCS @Jeff_McLane Why don't they just pay these guys to stay. There is always a dollar amount that someone would say to themselves do I want to go to a losing team knowing I could get fired if I don't win or stay in Philadelphia with basically a job for life because Howie is going nowhere.
@JClarkNBCS @Jeff_McLane Howie learned from Banner and I assume they have prepared well. They’ve always lost front office talent to other teams.
@JClarkNBCS @Jeff_McLane NFL wants to absorb the methodology of how the Eagles have been working in the cap grey area for all these years.
@JClarkNBCS @Jeff_McLane Congrats to Jake, may he find the success he's looking for. Thanks for your commitment to the craft and the birds.
@JClarkNBCS @Jeff_McLane Does he have a job offer? Going to another team? "Leaving to pursue growth" is a very strange term!
@JClarkNBCS @Jeff_McLane Going to need a Howie GM/Exec tree pretty soon.
