If a women’s COD league is to exist @WxCallofDuty @Allycxt then surely we must be able to define the word ‘woman.’ What qualities qualify someone to be able to join this league? They must be a woman of course - well what is that? If trans women are women, then what is a woman? What is the definition of a woman? There is no honest definition that includes trans women that: a) isn’t circular (ie: a woman is someone who identifies as a woman) this does not define the word woman it doesn’t tell me what a woman is b) isn’t contradictory (ie: cambridge definition) which says that a woman is someone who identifies as female, yet how can someone identify as a biological sex? the definition of female alone means trans women are not women The reality is simple, once trans women are able to be classified as women then the word woman loses all meaning. There is no truthful reality where trans women can be considered women. There isn’t an honest definition out there. Here is the real definition: Woman: An adult human female. If you are curious what a female is defined as I suggest you google it, but a biological male can’t be one and therefore cannot be a woman.
@contrude @WxCallofDuty @Allycxt All of this because of a trans person playing in a call of duty tournament is crazy. You would think the simple explanation for this is quite literally just “Cod WOMEN’S tournament” Trans WOMEN should be able to compete in a non physical activity
@SpaceWizardHD @contrude @WxCallofDuty @Allycxt Reaction time is something everyone can practice and improve on, and I’ve done plenty of research today. Average RT isn’t the same as trained, and those studies show negligible difference among men and women who are athletes or exercise vs those with sedentary lifestyles
@SpaceWizardHD @contrude @WxCallofDuty @Allycxt Here’s an article that shows a narrowing gap among MvF reaction times over the years as well as differences among med students who exercise and those who don’t. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P… For a bigger sample size here is a study about 2008 Olympic sprinters ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P….
@SpaceWizardHD @contrude @WxCallofDuty @Allycxt For the Olympic sprinters it shows their median difference in the fastest RT to be 12ms, compared to the 23ms average which is an 11 point difference.
@SpaceWizardHD @contrude @WxCallofDuty @Allycxt This also will only narrow more and more with time as more women learn to drive, play sports, exercise, etc.
