it’s the same thing i’ve been saying for the last 2-3 years *(about sniping content specifically)* which is that nobody is innovating and everybody thinks they can get away with the same #1 sniper and i’m a hacker bullshit thumbnails with zero recognition of storytelling and anybody with an ounce of retention understanding knows videos get pushed out when people watch them for longer than the first 2 minutes. the most creative video format is killing ttv streamers and even those have been sucked dry pause as long as i’ve been alive the alg pushes content initially based on clicks and long term based on watchtime. and every one of my peers who makes content i tried drilling this into their skull so many times and nobody seems to appreciate the effort required to make a viral piece of gaming content which could inherently change your life. idk if people think it’s 2007 and that ffa nukes can retire your family like pamaj or whoever but i personally believe it’s a mix of a lacking mass audience appeal for click and shoot content complimented with a lack of genuine original ideas or at the very least some effort allocated to storytelling. views will always be bottlenecked by the interested audience so by making your content only for a small audience means yeah your views will continue to suck for this cod and the next cod and every cod to exist from now on and every content creator who ignores this suffers the same fate which can be seen clearly by studying cod creators who disappeared. 🦓
