Modi-hatred is almost a requirement to be called an "intellectual" in some circles. We have to counter them, so let's recall some history. Congress had left Punjab, Kashmir, Assam all burning. The Naxal menace had made middle India ungovernable. Bihar and UP had become lawless. Bengal stagnated and deteriorated. Today, Bengal has been rescued from the lawless TMC. For the first time since my childhood, we can discuss development and progress in all these states. We can disagree on specific paths to development, but at least we get to have that conversation. These achievements did not happen magically. They required a lot of hard work and sacrifice - and all of it happened democratically. Let us not forget that Congress used Article 356 very often to dismiss state governments and now they lecture us on "democratic values". If we elect the wrong crowd, we risk losing all the gains we have made. Modi and Shah have provided strong and resolute leadership that has allowed these useless intellectuals to indulge their Modi hatred. Deep down, even they know the truth.

A 16-year-old girl from Hyderabad went to her aunt's house in Tirupati for summer vacation. Her aunt’s husband Ramamurthy, took her private photos and videos and then threatened her that he will post those on social media and raped her. The girl, who came back to Hyderabad, but her mother realised she was mentally disturbed. She sat down with her daughter and spoke to her and then got all the details. Mother of the victim filed a complaint in Jagadgirigutta police station in Hyderabad. A zero FIR was registered and the case is now transferred to Tirupati East PS. Police have registered cases against the accused Ramamurthy under POCSO Act.

This is a POCSO case where the son of a BJP minister in Hyderabad has been accused of sexually assaulting a minor girl. Big victory for Prime Minister Modi in India 🇮🇳 state elections. Its time the West appreciates the strength of Indian democracy! BJP has won a massive victory in state elections in West Bengal and Assam. The turn out was extraordinary high, more than 90%, far above normal participation in European and American elections. With a population of 106 million West Bengal is much larger than any nation in the European Union, so this matters! The result should give western media a pause. They very often present prime minister Modi as a threat to democracy and his policies as some sort of Hindu extremism. The reality is exactly the opposite. Indian is not only the worlds largest democracy in size - its also one of the most solid in content because its not a western transplant but rooted in Indian traditions and history. Yesterday’s election produced surprising results in West Bengal and Kerala and a shocking one in Tamil Nadu. Still the losers accept defeat. The turn out is high. There is close to zero violence. Every citizen get the ballot papers - even in the most remote places. The right to free speech is uncontested and Indians use it widely. When BJP performed below expectations in the 2024 parliament elections, many western media wrote as if it was the beginning of the end for Modiji. Since then the BJP has won state elections in Odisha, Haryana, Delhi, Maharashtra, Bihar - and now Assam and West Bengal. What a revenge! At a time when democracy is threatened in the US and European democracies struggle to deliver, we should look to India for inspiration not fear!
