On Feb. 22, 2024, Intuitive Machines’ Odysseus lunar lander captures a wide field of view image of Schomberger crater on the Moon approximately 125 miles (200 km) uprange from the intended landing site, at approximately about 6 miles (10 km) altitude.
@Int_Machines You guys lied, Odysseus tipped over! @Int_Machines
@Int_Machines Why’s the EagleCam image taking so long?
@Int_Machines I can't quite see how it's being hailed as a 'success' when the bloody thing tipped over, i remember 50 years ago and the Apollo landings, they didn't 'tip over' we seem to have gone backwards in space exploration, disappointing
@Int_Machines So we can land on moon with people. Land on the surface of mars with landers and rovers. And also fly a helicopter around. But now cant land a small lander on the moon.???? Wtf man.
@Int_Machines Can we get Odysseus to drive by the Apollo 11 landing site. I heard our flag blew over when they lifted off the moon because it was to close to the LEM. It's be nice to get it standing back up, again.
@Int_Machines That is the picture it sent just before crashing (aka, hard landing) Stop plying games. If you have pictures of your lander sitting upright on the moon, show us now or we shall assume this is yet another hoax of NASA only 50 years later.
@Int_Machines I am having trouble making anything out in this photo. Also, what's this?
@Int_Machines Please don't destroy the technology once again. Because this time is going to be more hilarious 😂
I knew you'd bedazzle me with the most incredible images Odysseus! I'm so glad reality is much better than my imagination in this case! You have exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds Odysseus! Look at what you helped do @SpaceX and @NASA! Isn't this the most amazing thing you've ever seen! And our journey is only beginning...the BEST IS YET TO COME! I don't know about you @SpaceX and @NASA but I am super, super excited about the future! 🤗🤗🤗🥳🥳🥳🤗🤗🤗
