Can you maintain a sense of humanity and compassion under stressful circumstances?
@InsightTweeting Not always. But afterwards if I don't, I do feel regret.
The trouble with democracy is politicians only look seriously at the next 3 terms maximum, as individuals we can look at where we are going as it impacts us and what positive things which have gotten us to where we are by reflection. If you are angry all the time you will not be able to do this. Sounds like waffle but it confirms we are still in charge of our own lives' to which we can bring humanity and compassion along with a fighting spirit for positive change.
@InsightTweeting Generally. But I don’t think we are built for sustainability in that arena
@InsightTweeting I always give it my best. I find not personalizing external conflict helps me maintain a degree of detached calm.
@InsightTweeting my wrath is terrible to behold
@InsightTweeting Ask every politician I've met. They generally hate my guts
@InsightTweeting Don't have a choice, we have to do it for our kids.
@InsightTweeting For 26 years I have...and I'm gettin tired
