"Planetary Aryan alignment" is what Foreign Affairs (then called "Journal of Race Development") was endorsing in the 1890s. Analogies with Rome are nothing but a thought-terminating cliché in this case (i.e. republic vs. empire.) History doesn't repeat itself but it can saddle you with an unnecessarily burdensome weight on envisioning an ideal. The father of American political science, John W. Burgess, understood that America was so superior in its political and social organization that it could administer a total world empire while still maintaining its fundamental Teutonic national character. This vision was never a pipe dream as it already organically came to pass, albeit haphazardly and incompletely. LatAm, Europe, East Asia exist under American domination like fish swim in water. Spend any time doing business outside America and it becomes immediately clear how deferential and obsequious foreigners are to Americans. And for good reason too. Americans' professional integrity is a stereotype everywhere you go. The dollar isn't "backed by the military" as people like to say. It's backed by the credibility of Americans as a race. As the chief architect of the U.S. dollar Charles P. Kindleberger understood, the dollar is backed by a decentralized network of private-public institutions whose role is to uphold American business and institutional norms among firms operating within the dollar system. The reason ~90% of daily global financial transactions are conducted in U.S. dollars is because Americans are trusted globally and there's no state--or more precisely, there's no race--that can swiftly fill that role. One could spend days adumbrating the ways in which, even in their strident antipathy, the vast majority of mankind lives under American dominion. "Anti-imperialists" too are just as, if not more, enchanted by the allure of American power. After all, their raison d'etre is always defined in opposition to the Ugly American. There's an old French joke which goes something like "Yankees, go home! But take me with you." Trump is attacked by the lying press for acting in the world as if America can impose her will outside China and Russia's spheres of influence without much opposition but he's been proven totally right. Nietzsche argued that history is nothing but a bad nightmare to be awoken from and it's not a surprise he looked up to America as the arena out of which the future Übermensch would be in highest frequency. Derided as a people with no history, it's no coincidence that Americans also happened to master the science of government and have retained for more than two centuries an irresistibly romantic appeal to all of mankind. @jon_wunwun7 James Hoffmeier wrote a good book about all these arguments in 'Israel in Egypt'. He provides evidence for Joseph's Egyptian account from the timeline accurate price he was sold as a slave and Joseph's age of death, which was the ideal Egyptian lifespan, not the Hebrew one.
