@Inhumansoflate1 Has anyone with orange hair ever worked 90 hours a week?
@Inhumansoflate1 For me, it just seemed like an unequal relationship. I was expected to sacrifice for my employer who wouldn't make any sacrifices for me if times got tough.
@Inhumansoflate1 Dude check your facts. 1) Americans work 35 hours/week on average 2) Millions of employees moved to higher paying or remote jobs during the "great resignation" putting personal well being over slavish loyalty 3) Your scenario fits communist death camps much better.
@Inhumansoflate1 Not only is that not 99% of Americans’ mindset, but most people involved in building products aren’t doing 90 hour weeks or close to it—those who do long hours are often compensated—and the reason none of you know it is because none of you work in jobs like this
@Inhumansoflate1 is 90 hours even legal? here in the UK the maximum hours anyone is allowed per week is 42 hours. which with the minimum wage coming in at the start of april will be about £478 per week
@Inhumansoflate1 Capitalist propaganda is a hell of a drug.
@Inhumansoflate1 when I was 4 my mom lost her job. I remember her sobbing about "why would they let me go; I make SO MUCH MONEY for them" and getting confused because we never had money. still doesn't sit right with me, 30+ years later.
