🚨 Old vehicles on Delhi roads could face scrapping, as the govt has come up with a new set of guidelines.

@IndianTechGuide Delhi has new guidelines for old vehicles. The guidelines state that vehicles older than 15 years for petrol & 10 years for diesel are not allowed on Delhi roads. These vehicles have been banned in Delhi since a Supreme Court order in 2018 as they are considered polluting.

Delhi govt has come out with a new set of guidelines to prevent the movement of overaged or end-of-life vehicles - petrol-run vehicles above 15 years of age and diesel vehicles above 10 years - which are considered polluting and have been barred from Delhi and National Capital Region by the Supreme Court.
The Delhi government has issued new guidelines aimed at curbing the circulation of overaged or end-of-life vehicles. Petrol-run vehicles older than 15 years and diesel vehicles older than 10 years, deemed environmentally harmful, are prohibited from operating in Delhi and the National Capital Region by the Supreme Court.

@IndianTechGuide Vehicle scrap law is not a good decision because you just can't decide the condition of engine by the years of manufacturing. Pollution through vehicle is depend on condition of engine how well it maintained
