Quarantine Activity: Encourage your child to remember the principle “We all have power” by listing your family’s superpowers! What superpowers does your family use?
When children feel supported to speak in their own way, they build skills of self-esteem, self-awareness, and self-advocacy. The “Speak Up” song reminds your child that they have a voice— they can share what they see and ask for what they need. youtube.com/watch?v=TdXOSo…
Lessons in quarantine: We all have power! During this time at home, remind your child that they have power--unique gifts and talents--that can be used to make the world a brighter place.
Quarantine Activity: Help your child to understand the principle “We all are valuable” by brainstorming a “Valuable List” for the family. Gather the family together to discuss ideas for the ways they can offer something of value in your home!
Children can learn that their presence influences what others feel, do, or say. The “Lonely Broccoli” song dives into the principle that we all are valuable and covers the topics of inclusion and empathy for others. Watch now on our YouTube channel via linktr.ee/im4ukids.
Lessons in quarantine: We are all valuable! Every person has an important role to play in their community--especially during this time spent at home. One important contribution that you can remind your child of is to stay at home to promote health and safety.
Quarantine Activity: Reinforce the principle "we all are learning for your child by creating a treasure hunt! Hide clues around the house. In the last place, leave a treasure, such as an appreciative note from Dad or Mom, something yummy and nutritious your child enjoys!
Learning is unique for everyone! The “Funky As A Diaper” song illustrates the learning process and perseverance by taking a lighthearted look at how all of us went through stages of trial and error as we learned to walk (in our diapers!) Full video: linktr.ee/im4ukids
Lessons in quarantine: We all are learning! During our time at home, we're discovering new ways to stay entertained and connected with others. From building with blocks to navigating online education platforms, your young child is learning in a time of next-generation innovators.
Quarantine Activity: While at home, give your child a big “yay!” when you see them use their strengths. Say “oops!” when a mistake happens and ask your child what they could do differently if the same situation occurs again. Focus on what they can learn from the experience.

Quarantine Activity: Here’s an activity you can try with your children to help teach that we are all connected: Ask them to remember getting ready for school. Who helped them get dressed? Who made them breakfast? Who drove the bus to pick them up? Who met them at the door?
